There is some interesting technology at the non-vugraph table. There are cameras over the tables that are synched with the electronic scoring machines. You press a button, and the camera records to the auction, and types it into the electronic scoring (you can override it if something happens). Then you tell it to record the play, and it does. This presumably helps the directors in the case of a dispute, and is good for the game in general since it makes records of the play easily available. I have to admit, it feels a little weird when playing with it, only because it’s so different.
